Anniversary Ideas
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleHi, my boyfriend and i were best friends before we started dating, and now we've been together as a couple for over a year now. We usually just go out to dinner and a movie or take a walk in the park for our month-anniversaries and for our year anniversary we went to the zoo.
We've been stressed lately because he's going into his second year of college and I'll be beginning my first year so we're trying to prepare ourselves for that.
Our 14 month anniversary is coming in a couple weeks and we always try to do something special for them, but I'm at a complete loss...
I want to do something different, unexpected and special...
Do you have any suggestions?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe best thing for a couple to do is something that speaks to their personal connection. I.e. for one couple it might be going to an opera - but another couple might hate that idea. For one couple it could be going to a baseball game, but another couple could be bored silly there.
So think about YOUR relationship together and make a list of the things you love. Do you love live jazz music? Hiking in the wilderness? Hanging out on the ocean? Going to a wild all-night rave? Doing a behind-the-scenes activity at an aquarium?
Think about the things you two think are really cool, that you'd like to try someday. Then go through the list and enjoy!
