A Co-Worker Likes Me
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleThere's a guy at work who's I guess you'd call an assistant manager but not my boss. I always thought he was cute but never thought beyond that. He has to work closely with my dept. and I seem to be the only one he asks for help.
When he first started on my shift we did not get along at all but over time we started to bond over movies and music and whatnot. He constantly burns me new cds of band he thinks I'll like but he does that for some other coworkers. If he doesn't have to come down to my dept. he'll stop by just to say hi and only talk to me.
I didn't think anything of it until the other day when he stopped by he had something in his hand and said I thought of you I remembered you said that these were your favorite food and the were on sale so I bought them for you. Before I could see what it was he was gone and when I saw him the next day and I told him thank you and whatnot he turned bright red.
I'm always being teased by my coworkers they keep telling me he likes me but I'm not a 100% sure if i should make a move or just leave it alone.
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis guy absolutely is paying a lot of attention to you. If you're fond of him too, try something casual. You both have movies you like. Find a movie you want to see and then mention casually to him that you're interested in it. See if he then offers to go with you. You need to make the opening for him, so he sees that there's an opportunity there.
If he doesn't make any comment about going to the movie with you, then there's no harm either. All you did was talk about a movie you want to see.
