She's Taken - I Want Her Anyway
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleOkay so i like my best friend. During the school year we would always flirt, hold hands, kiss each other on the cheek, etc. But as soon as the year ended we just stopped. She went her way while i was left behind wondering.
She had a boyfriend and still does, but he is moving away. I don't get how she feels for me. I told her I've almost kissed her on previous occasions and she gave me a look that kind of made me feel as if she was saying "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU?"
Now she doesn't seem to give me any signs. She stays away, she doesn't let me grab her hand, she doesn't look me in the eyes like she did. She just kind of avoids me.
She told me she liked me before, but i think she has changed her mind on the matter.
It seems i'm the one left out this time any help please? i don't get what i should do. i really like her and want her to like me back =/
RomanceClass.com AdviceI think the first, most clear thing here is SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND ALREADY. You were the "other man" having an affair with her. She was having an affair with you. And now you're curious why she ended the affair.
I think the fact that she could have an affair in the first place, and then just drop you without an explanation or anything in the second place, indicates that this probably isn't the best partner for you to be chasing. I realize love is blind, but she's proven repeatedly that she is going to hurt you going forward. You deserve to be with someone who loves you for who you are and who doesn't callously hurt you on a whim.
Yes, this will be hard. But go through the break-up period, get yourself a fresh start on life, and then find a partner who adores you.
