In love with my best friend
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleHi there,
Um, I'm a 17 yr old girl who is involved with her best friend.
My best friend's name is Kelly* (yes, my friend is also a girl) and is not that much younger than me. Kelly knows that I'm insanely in love with her, but won't progress with me due to her parents, as well as the fact that she feels confused.
The thing is that she has an illness that the doctors can't explain and I've become really worried about her. I don't see her that often because she's being kept out of school.
How do I show her that I still love her and that she can still count on me even though she's sick? I leave school in 3 months time, so I'll hardly see her afterward.
Thanks a lot
RomanceClass.com AdviceIf your friend is sick - even putting everything else aside for a moment - then absolutely you should do your best to spend time with her and help her feel less isolated. Talk with the parents and see if you can arrange visits. Send cards. Write poems. Tape songs. Do all those things to help her feel less abandoned!
Good luck!
