Getting really close
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleHey romance class, I need help with a situation I have here.
I met this girl about a month ago through a friend. There was something about her that really drew me toward her. She went on vacation for about a month and we started talking and texting each other a lot. everyday from morning till night. She recently just came back home and we are still talking and dating. I've never felt this way about this girl, there's just something about her Ive never felt with exs before, i really think she is the one for me considering how she treats me. She too is really into me. I guess you could say were really falling for each other.
An issue that just came up was that she mentioned when she is done school in about 5 years, she wants to go to the united kingdom for one year to upgrade in teachers college. I was a little heartbroken to hear that as the UK is some thousand miles away from Canada. Should i be worried about this, or would it be best to take one day at a time and see if her mind changes? I know she said this is her plans in 5 years but its kinda making me a bit iffy. How can i approach this and what do you think? (she's 19 i'm 20)
Thanks a lot!
RomanceClass.com AdviceI would not worry at ALL about anyone's plans for five years from now. It is insane the number of things that change in five years. Heck, lots of people completely change their majors and reroute their direction in that period of time. She might run into a class she adores in art history and decide to become an art history major.
Just enjoy what you have for now, and make plans for the next year or two. And heck, maybe in five years you'll have hit the lottery and you'll go with her to the UK as a fun vacation.
Good luck!
