I'm Shy - How Do I Get Her Attention?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malehi, I kinda like a girl in my class. All the guys love to get her attention by kindly bullying her. As for me, well, i'm a guy like another, i love to get her attention to. but something is different about me, with me, it doesn't feel natural of pesting her and getting her attention that way. I just clamp when the class is pesting her.
That girl pounds those guys and they like that (that's her way of giving attention, i know, it's uncommon). Sometimes she hits me to, without a reason for it(without me pesting her), like smacking a book on my head, or softly pushing me. When that happens, I try to make her laugh with my reaction on it. But after that, it's just back to clampy me.
Further, we get along, but that's it. I THINK that i had a chance of kissing her at a party, she texted me a lot to ask where i was. I didn't had the chance of being alone with her that night, so i failed. And somehow, a friend of mine got her number and until now, he still is stalking her. She blames me for giving her number away while it wasn't my fault. She was mad at me for that.
And now i want to know, how could i possibly get any closer to her? i must tell you this to: i don't think i will be a good accompany to her if we went out (like at the movies) because, when i'm alone (no other male friends) i'm just a quiet guy.
So how can i get any chance at her ?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt's fine to be shy and quiet! We're all different people with different kids of attitudes and ways of looking at things. It could be that she is interested in shy, gentle you far more than in pushy, bully guys. So treasure your gentle nature and take advantage of that.
It is fine to go to the movies and be quiet! That's what movies are about. They're about being quiet :) So see what movie she's interested in and then mention that you've really wanted to see it, and maybe she'd go with you. You can have a quiet night with her, and that's fine. When the movie's out, make a point to ask even just one question about the movie. Ask her how she liked a particular scene. That way you have something to talk about.
You don't need to be different than you are. You can be yourself. And if that is quiet, that's fine. Find things to do that involve being quiet.
