Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Person
Before I dated my ex we already had strong feelings for eachother.. We had already said I love you and everything. Well on about our 3rd month he was getting to know other girls on myspace behind my back because I wouldn't ask to see it, I trusted him... I still had mixed feelings for another and on my 6th month it accidentally came out that I told him "I love you" so my recent boyfriend found out and was all sad. && later on that day I found out about those 5 girls he was talking to before and I guess he thought I was trying to get back at him which I wasn't... So we kept dating and all... Time went on and on our 8th month an ex texted me telling me that he loved me and missed me and kept calling me "babe" my boyfriend thought I was cheating on him. But I wasn't!! We broke up because he didn't trust me. Now he acts like he cares when we are together and when we are around people, he's a jerk. He still gets jealous when I talk to guys but he gets mad when I get jealous when he's with girls. We've been broken up for 1 month and I'm going insane!! He still tells me he loves me and he misses me and cries every night, same as me.. WHAT DO I DO?!?! I WANT HIM & HIM ONLY I'VE TOLD HIM BUT HE WON'T BELIEVE ME :'( CAN SOMEONE HELP??!

When I hear you say that he treats you well when you're alone, but is a jerk when you're around other people, it sounds like this guy has an ego problem. He has to look like he has the upper hand in the relationship by treating you badly in front of others. Do you really want to be with a guy that has so little respect for you? I think you two have too much baggage to start again cleanly.

You sound like a nice girl; you can do much better. I'd start fresh with someone that trusts you and is trustworthy.
