Does he probably like me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
A few weeks ago Ive become friends with this guy that my best friend has a crush on. I have been talking to him occasionally but a week after we met I gave him my fone number and we have been texting almost all night long ever since. One day we had free period and our teacher was giving us a speech b4 letting us have our free period and when I glanced at the clock I thought I saw him glancing at me and when our teacher finished he walked on his knees all the way to where I was and we hung out all period long and he was smiling a lot. On the last day of school, b4 winter break started, when last period was over he talked to me and when he said bye he hugged me for the 1st time and we have been texting each other every single day since then. When I kill the convo in our text he texts something random as if he wanted to keep the convo going. My best friend (the one that likes him) thinks he likes me. I have another friend who apparently knows who he likes and she thinks the same thing too even tho she knows who he likes. She even asked me what I would do if he told me he liked me. Part of me is telling me that he likes me but another part doesn't want to believe it bcuz I would think it's like betraying my best friend. Does he like me?

It really sounds as though this boy likes you - a lot. Be careful if you go for it, since your best friend has a crush on him. You have to consider whether dating this boy is worth losing your friend over. There is probably no easy way out if you also like him - someone might end up hurt.

Or you could end up with the relationship of your dreams. Only you can make this call, ultimately. Just be honest with everyone if you do decide it's worth the risk.
