We Have Been Together For To Long To Quit
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleOkay .. Well let me start by saying I'm in LOVE with him . We have been going out for 3 years & almost 2 months . We are still in high school and this is our last year .
Me & my boyfriend aren't the perfect couple . Our 1st year together was great we spent everyday & after school & weekends together. We would be on the phone 24/7 .. He would be on my shXX check on me , & I didn't mind it . I thought it wus the cutest thing & showed that he cared and loved me . We took our virginity & that's when it started kinda getting bad .. We would fight more & I cheated on him :'( & he found out .. But we managed to get over it & he didn't cheat on me .. that I know of . We got to our 2 year .
Our 2 year .. It was bad . Always fighting for little stuff yes I caused most of it because he wasn't the same after our 1st year . But we still manage to look forward . He & my family don't get along so good cause of something I don't wanna say . But we got over that . & in the summer we broke up because I was smoking & we lost contact & we both did 'us' .. I consider it cheating is it ? Because he said he would never do that & that's the 1st thing he did run of to a SLUT smh . But I also had my fun . We got back together .. & we are in our 3rd year I don't feel like he puts enough effort to talk to me .. I know he lost his phone but I have him my ipod so he can go on aim & we can talk . & he barely hits me up I know he goes to skewl Mon-Frid & does community service after but he can't hit me up ?!? Idk I get lonely at time & I know he works but he doesn't make time for me or to see or call me .. Things haven't been the same & I write him love letters expressin my feeling & he jus says aw thanks I love you 2 .. Should I leave him or no ?! Idk I feel I put more effort I miss seeing him , hearin his voice & being with him
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt sounds like most of the good has gone out of your relationship. Honestly, I think you two still like each other and are comfortable together in certain ways, but that the positive aspects of your relationship are over. It isn't enough to love someone. It isn't even enough if they love you back. You have to both be active about working on the relationship. I just don't see that here.
I think it would be healthier to move on to a new love.
