I like a girl but everybody knows

Okay, I really, really like this girl in my school. I told some kids I thought I could trust but then one girl totally back stabbed me and told everyone. So now the girl knows and I wans't ready for her to know, I wanted to tell her on my own. I still really like her and everyone saying to me like "ooooooo, you love ZZZ!"

I still like her but one of her friends said to me that ZZZ would never go out with me. I think she has a boyfriend but I'm not sure. What should I do?

Rule 1 in romance is never to reveal your feelings, even to trusted friends. The word always gets out. It's too late of course, but really, you would want her to know in the end so this just accelerated the pace a bit.

You would hopefully never just walk up to a girl you barely knew and say "go out with me!" anyway, so this isn't a big deal. What you need to do is build up a FRIENDSHIP with this girl so she gets to know you. Of course she won't date you if she doesn't know you! She wouldn't be a very self-respecting girl if she just randomly dated strangers. So let her know about you.

I have tons of tips on the site about flirting and talking. Read up on them and start talking and flirting with her. Say hi, chat in the halls, get to be her friend and let her get to know you. Once she knows you, she'll be far more likely to be interested in dating you, because she'll know and trust you.
