I want my ex back after splitting up from her
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleI split up from my ex going on two weeks now and I desperately want her back. I've tried talking to her but she tells me to back off and the other night I couldn't take it and threatened to kill myself and also have self harmed myself in a vain attempt to get her back. (I am getting professional help). But the problem now is that she won't speak to me at all and when I tried to go round I had to speak to her mother because she wouldn't see me. I feel so awful about everything and just want her back in my arms.
It's not the first time we have split up either, she split up from me nearly a year ago then we got back together, then I split up from her in november and we managed to stay an item after that but now I fear I have ruined the whole thing because I acted out selfishly and all I want to do is talk to her because I love her so much.
I feel like I'm to blame for a lot of the problems in the relationship but I know my faults and I jumped to conclusions when I split up from her because she has threatened to split from me in the past on many occasions because of the way I am and when I say it, it was what ended it for real and now I feel like shit and I can't stand not being able to speak to her,
what can I do to get her back?
RomanceClass.com AdviceI don't think you two should get back together, honestly. There is too much water under the bridge, and you have tried and tried together, on and off, for a very long time now. I know you want her in your life, but a lot of that is because it's a comfortable habit. In the long run, you will be better off with a new love. Work towards that. I am very glad you are seeking professional help. I hope you are doing well!
