Her love is back?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Alright, so I've been seperated from my girlfriend for about 5 years now, and recently her and I have began talking again, nothing special. At one point, she begins telling me about all of the problems she has developed, and how someone caring about her scares her, because she's afraid that she'll hurt them. Now, she doesn't tell me everything, but enough to show that she trust me. Now during school, whenever I run into her, she always attempts to hit me or try and make physical contact. A lot of my friends have told me that she really likes me, and that everyone, excluding myself, knows that. I mean, I understand some aspect of where that would come from, but the fact she is afraid of loving somebody is a hard pill to swallow, and on top of all of that, she has just recently broken up with a boyfriend of three years. I'm happy that we're talking again, but it's been five years, way too long for someone to hold on to love.

I think she does want your attention again; that seems clear. It also does not sound like you are very into the idea of having a relationship with her again, not really. She seems to have some baggage to work out and might not be ready. It might be a hard thing for you to have to deal with.
