the worlds stickiest situation

since 4th grade i liked this guy in class. in fifth grade everyone said he liked me, but he said he hates me but always says it with a cute smile on his face. how do i know if he likes me or not? i really like him so help!!!!!!

If he makes an effort to talk to you, sit near you, and be around you, that would be an encouraging sign. Try to talk more to him and find out his interests. it does NOT sound like he hates you! I bet you have a chance with him.
