I still miss my ex

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My ex has hurt me so bad by saying he can't stand me and that he should of broken up with me a long time ago and now he just wants me to forget it and just be his friend.

I don't want to be his friend! Do you know how bad it would hurt me knowing that he is talking to someone else and dating other girls? I love him more than anything and it just kills me knowing that he's not mine anymore and that's why I can't be his friend. Do you think I'm in the wrong?

Loving someone is never about possessing them. It is about wanting them to be as happy as possible, whereever they are. If your sole thought is about wanting to *possess* this guy, then that is not love. That is obsession.

Give yourself time away from him, to concentrate on you and your family. You need to regain balance in your life, to realize what is truly important in your life. That is you and your family. It should NEVER be another guy that is more important than that.
