Talking To the Girl

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I kinda like this girl in my gym class and shes older than me by a year or two. Am a freshmen and shes a sophomore. I dunno how to talk to her becuz she is really really quiet. Most of the time she is alone by herself. I am a little shy as well. I find it ez to talk to girls that am not interested in. I duno if she'll go for me cuz i heard that girls like older guys so i duno if its true or not.

Another reason is she might not take me seriously cuz sometimes she sees me wit my friends messin around wit other people so she might think am just messin' wit her as well. I want to get to really kno her to see if she's right for me but i cant find the courage to. I feel nervous when shes around and i dun have ne other class wit her at all except gym. I dun even see her during lunch so i dunt kno if shes wit some other guy or sumtin.

I get really depress when am by myself. I mostly sleep all day or sides from that i go out with friends but once i get home i get really depress again. I think about her a lot mostly during class and wen am bout to go sleep. I've receive advice from some sites but cant put them to good use. Also am not very good at starting a conversation :(

What do i do?? How can i approach her???

RomanceClass.com Advice
A year is NOTHING when you are dating someone!! Many people date who are 10 years apart. So she's practically the same age as you. Plus you are both shy which means you are both well matched for each other.

I have tons of advice on flirting here -

the key to dating is ALWAYS to get to know the girl first. Become her friend, someone she knows and trusts. So read up on those tips and get to be someone she trusts. Once she's your friend, she'll be comfortable spending time with you - and before you know it, dating will be a 'normal thing'.
