I Cheated on my Good Friend
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleI have a very good friend thats boyfriend has cheated on her with me a couple times...me and this guy had dated before and kissed and did other things...so then he started going out with my friend and we still did things, like 2 times after they started going out, then later on whenever he got mad at her he would turn to me and we would kiss, i couldnt say no because he is my best friend so i didnt want him to get mad at me.
what would you do in this case? is it a bad thing? should i feel as horrible as i do?

What if you were dating a guy and you found out that he was sleeping around and lying to you - and not only that that it was your girlfriend who was lying to you too? Wouldn't you feel about as betrayed as you could possibly be???
I would go to your girlfriend and apologize and confess. This guy is a slimeball. He is using you AND using her and doing it for his own pleasure. And he is making you feel like you had to do it! One of THE most important things you can learn in life is that you have to be honest with your friends, and you have to take responsibility for the things you do. Lying is NEVER a good idea. Once you get branded as a liar, nobody will trust you, nobody will want to date you. Heck, if this guy is sleeping with you AND her, who knows who else he is sleeping with! What if he got a sexual disease, gave it to you and you got really sick? This isn't just "silly stuff" here. You could get serious health problems because of his inability to keep his pants zipped.
You need to learn to stand up for yourself. You should NEVER let a guy use you because you "wanted him to like you". Believe me, some guys will use and abuse you if they feel they can. If you don't look out for yourself NOBODY will and you will end up very sad and hurt.
