He's Tongue-Tied Around Me

There's this boy in highschool i really like him a lot. Him and i are good friends or at least we were great friends.I have no idea why but he started acting funny around me. Like he would be able to talk to everyone else but have a 5 word vocabulary around me. But he's really sweet. What should i do?
