He Thinks I'm Too Young
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleI am interested in a friend of mine. Recently, (and unbeknownst to me) he told a mutual friend that he was interested in me as well , but that our age difference (12 years, I'm younger) was an issue. I would really like to broach the subject with him, but am afraid. He and I are both very shy, and I've never confessed my feelings to someone else before. Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated.
RomanceClass.com AdviceTwelve years really isn't a big deal between adults. The big issue is that you both want the same things out of life. For example if you both just want to live together and be happy together, it would seem pretty simple. On the other hand if one of you wants to raise a family and the other doesn't, it won't work at all. It's not a matter of love, it's a matter of goals for life. You can love someone and not be a good partner for them. So it's important that you two talk about what you want out of life, what your goals are. Be honest, be fully truthful.
