RomanceClass.com AdviceIt is really really silly for you guys to be arguing about "who broke up with who". Does it really matter at all if both of you WANTED to break up, who said it first? It does not.
That being said NEITHER of you were mature to tell the other to their face. It was really childish for him to send a friend with a message - and equally childish for you to try to "claim victory" in this area.
If you guys really want to make this work again, you have to make a strong commitment to each other to talk to each other IN PERSON when you are not happy with the relationship in the first place - never mind when you actually want to throw in the towel. You guys should have been discussing the problems long before any talk of abandoning the relationship came up.
