How do i handle my husbands very close female friend who is very jealous of me and my relationship with my husband?

You're the wife! Of course you're the closest person to your husband! If this friend is jealous of you, then she's not a friend. She has a romantic interest in him, if she wants to take your place in his life. It sounds like time for him to back off on this relationship with her. It's one thing to have female friends. It's another to string along a woman who is building romantic interests to the point of causing trouble for your relationship.
