I want to do something for him that will make him very happy? What can i do or what can i buy for him that is not very expensive!

It's always a dangerous thing when you start to equate "I want him to be happy" with "I want to spend cash". Who says that happiness involves cash outlays? There are SO many things in life that are wonderfully happy that don't involve any cash at all. The best relationship is where people are simply happy to be together, and do not need to be bribed.

Read him some poetry. Learn to play a song on a guitar or recorder. Go for a long walk with him. Draw a picture of him. Memorize the names of the players on his favorite baseball team. I have THOUSANDS of tips on my site for ways in which people can have fun for free.
