He Left Me to Date My Friend

I've been dating this guy for a while and we really love each other but he broke up with me because i was grounded, now my friend tells me that he broke up with me because he wants to go out with my friend.

I really love him but i hate him at the same time, how do i get over him?

It's VERY common for people to date friends of exs. You tend to date people with common interests, and friends tend to have common interests. So in groups of friends, you end up with guys dating the various girls and girls dating the various guys.

Yes it's hard at first, but you get over the guy soon enough and move on to someone that's even better. Remember - if this had been perfect, you two wouldn't have broken up! So something was wrong, and hopefully you learned a lesson or two from him to get an even better the next time around.
