He Ignores Me Unless I'm The Only Person Around

at the beginning when we started to be friends he would be really excited when seeing me,like always asking me where im going (what classes etc.) and online he would always talk to me. but now he doesn't seem that interested in what i have to say and don't pay that much attention.

when other people are around and i am around he goes to them first. im not as important to him. but if noone's around he talks to me. we have fun and he only really notices me when noone's around now, unlike before when i first met him.

do you think he likes me at all? he's nice to me only if non of he's other friends are around. i know that he at least don't hate me but i think he's starting to get bored of me.

It does sound like he's using you as a default fallback person. That is not a great way to be treated. I would look around for another guy to spend time with, someone that treats you with more respect.
