This Guy Calls Me Ugly

this boy i like makes fun of me to my friends he says im ugly and that i wear too much make up and he just makes alot of fun of me . and i just recently got pictures done of me and he was like wow that girl is hott and when he found out it was me he said ew no shes ugly

sometimes hes nice or other times hes mean like infront of my friend C he shows off alittle to get me mad or upset and makes fun to my face .and in class when im not even looking at him hell turn around and go EW WHAT ARE U LOOKING AT ? im like umm ok . help!

Guys don't always know how to get attention in a reasonable way. So they get attention in an unreasonable way. It's like a toddler. Toddlers don't walk up and say "I'm lonely, pay attention to me please." No, toddlers throw food at the wall because it makes you come running, and now they have attention. So they do whatever works. Apparently when he torments you, you react very strongly, and he likes that strong reaction.

That all being said, a guy who gets used to publicly berating a girl is not a guy I would want to be around. That kind of attitude gets old VERY quickly. If he's doing that for attention, then the best solution is NOT to give him any reaction. The next time he calls you ugly, just shrug and turn your back on him. Ignore him. On the other hand, when he is NICE to you, give him extra attention and affection. He craves that feedback, so you have to help him understand that he gets more of it when he does nice things vs cruel things.

If he simply likes to be cruel, then it's time to move on to another guy.
