RomanceClass.com Advice
If he is dating someone else, and if you caused them to break up, then he would always think of you as the Destructive Force that harmed a relationship. It would permanently taint how he thought of you. If you really and truly want to keep him as an option, stay good friends with him but don't pressure him. Show him you are there for him without any pressure. That way if HE chooses to break up with her he will trust you enough to keep talking with you. But in the meantime I would date other guys too, because you never know what life has in store for you. After all, your ex chose to leave because he wanted to date other people. That doesn't sound like a guy who was really meant for you. Somewhere out there is a guy who IS meant for you.
