The First Cut Is The Deepest

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
i recently broke up with my boyfriend, because he was out with some mates (including my best friend and her boyfriend) and they were all playing a "game" to kiss eachother and that, and my boyfriend told my best friend to join in but she had the sense to say "no i gotta boyfriend" and he said back to her "dont worry, i gotta girlfriend, but im still joining in" but my best mate said it sounded like he didnt even care about me! and he snogged some girl, and promised my best mate and every one else not to tell me. But as she's my best mate she obviously told me! and we've broken up but i really miss him, i got a new boyfriend now but i dont feel comfortable with him like i was with my ex! what shall i do?

Every relationship is different. You will never feel the way you did with your ex, but that isn't necesarily a bad thing. You may find a relationship in which you feel more than comfortable, but great and it will feel nothing like what you had with your ex.

The big thing is how you are treating your current boyfriend. Are you doing to him what your ex did to you in terms of emotional distance? If so, do both of you a favor and let him find someone who will care for him and then take some time for yourself before looking for someone new.
