RomanceClass.com AdviceI hate to tell you this, but sleeping with your boss is against the rules and against the law in most situations for a very good reason. Your boss has control over your finances! It's like a student sleeping with a teacher. As much as you might think "Oh we just love each other" there is always an element of control there. You might get a better raise than others. You might get preferential treatment because of it. This is completely illegal. Also, you might be after that "protection" and "control" of a father figure in your life, someone in power who can help make sure everything is OK for you.
The fact that he ran off the moment you became free is really a warning sign too. He was quite happy to have secret sex with you as long as it was "safe". But the moment that there became the possibility that you would actually want to have a REAL relationship, off he went.
Talk to a minister or counsellor or SOMEONE about this. This is not healthy, and if you destroyed your marriage because of this affair - with a husband that might have actually been good for you except for this boss-fixation - that could be a real shame.
