a 16 yr old dating a 20 yr old. Can it work?

Well heres the situation I like this guy he is 3 years older then me im 16 hes going on 20 ill be 17 this summer.He is also a friend of my brothers, he is really cute really sweet and we have alot in common he knows i like him but he doesnt know how bad i like him. and let me tell you the feelings are growing and getting worse.. I dont what the deal is I dont know the reasons why he may not be interested in me and i dont know what to do i kinda want to get over him because i dont think its going to lead me anywhere part of me wants to tell him how i feel,and he has 2 different personalitys when were alone together which is rare but when we are hes more intimate when he talks to me when were in a room filled with people hes like ehh your not there. He also has a reputation to go to strip club any chance he gets hes kinda a "man whore"....What can i do to get over him please help me I need some good advice cuz i am lost and i have all kinda of mixed emotions..thanks

I think you need to take a look at what you yourself said. He's dissing you in front of your friends, he's going out to clubs, he's older than you, and he's just not doing right by you. You're the perfect age to be going out with any number of guys. You're worth more than this guy is giving to you so you should be looking at ways of making new friends and new relationships. Join in a bunch of clubs or maybe look at volunteering at some non-profits. Anything to get your mind off of this guy.
