Overcome with Shyness!
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old FemaleI have A crush on my friend's friend. well heres the story I met my friend's friend about A month after me and my friend became best friends.anyway me and him kinda became hug and say hi buddies but not that close close like him and my friend are.Well at her sisters party ,I was in the back yard and he was in the front My friend got tired of me staring and not saying anything to him so she told me she was going to tell him I tried to stop her! guess what ............. it didn't work. well she went and told him. he said no because he said he doesn't know me enough and he likes older girls well i'm 1 year older then him but he doesn't know that (yet). anyway He wanted a pop form the party going on from the back yard (where I was) so he went back to get one. When I seen him coming back I quickly ran around front Antother friend said he wanted to talk to me (she is this girl that was also trying to hook us up)!anyway so she said "i'm gonna tell him where you are" she did so I ran and sat Indain style behind the car and tried to hide (it didn't work) anyway he found me (I knew he would)so he stood on my right and his friend stood in front of me then he said."Hey,whats up" I looked up and said hI but other than that I was speechless!so after him standing there for A good silent 2 minutes he said well I'm gonna go home and I wanted to say bye As I watch him walk away but it wouldn't come out! Well now he knows, and this brings me to my final question! how do I overcome my shyness and talk to him?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThere's no good cure for shyness, the only way to conquer it is to just go ahead and be bold! Go up to him and start talking about something, anything, whether it's about the weather or about the next class he's in or a movie you just saw... just start talking and slowly you'll get used to it and you'll be able to be comfortable enough to have a friendship with him that can easily slip into a relationship.
You're a lucky girl, you're going to have a great time!
