My best friend is dating my ex-friend and I'm jealous!
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female My really good guy friend is dating my ex-friend. People were bugging him and he said he kind of liked her. Then he agreed to dating her. They've never actually gone anywhere together and they barely ever talk. I'm really jelous and love him so much. Everytime I see him we try to talk as much as we can before the other disapears. He also blushes really big everytime I see him. My friends say they think he likes me but I don't know if they're right. Some of my friends that are his friends too told me that he said, before he was dating my ex-friend,that he had liked me for a long time. He also told them he could marry me and my brother could marry her and we would all be related. We even slow danced at the dance about three moths ago and he blushed and talked the hole time. I was also the only one he sais yes to dancing with everytime I asked. The other day I talked to him on the phone for two hours and we laughed the whole time. Do you think he likes me and just wants to be friends so it won't get too serious,or that he likes her more even though they barely ever talk or even look at each other, or what? Thanks.
RomanceClass.com AdviceDating is always filled with questions like these. You're not alone! It sounds to me like he likes you and isn't too involved with your ex-friend. But it also sounds like he's unsure of his own feelings and doesn't know how to proceed with them. You might have to take the lead in this relationship. You should sit him down and talk openly with him about your feelings and ask him what's going on for him, whether he thinks there's any chance for you two to get together. Let him open up about what's inside his head and don't get upset if it's not what you want... maybe things will grow stronger in the future!
Good luck with this, and let us know how it all turns out!
