The Rebounder
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old FemaleIf a guy that you totally adore asks you out and you say yes and then after 2 days u find out you are just a rebound and break up and then after a long time he totally adores you and asks you out what do you do? please help
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt sucks being a rebounder, and this is EXACTLY why rebounders should never date - because it screws up any future chances with that person. Now any future relationships are seen as suspect. If he had waited, and just dated you now, you both would have been incredibly happy. But now you have the spectre of that rebound disaster hanging over your heads and it makes you worry.
Everyone does stupid things while they're in rebound, and he learned his lesson. It sounds like this time he waited a while before he was really sure he was ready to try again. I would give him a second chance, but make sure he is REALLY over his ex this time.
