Is all these rumors going to mess our relationship up

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I have been friends with this boy for 3 years. I liked him the whole time him and my friend was going out he asked me out but i said no bc she said that if i did go out iwth him she would get mad.. well that was 2 years ago. Now im going out with him and it has been two weeks and a couple of days it was going fine the first week. you know how you kiss your boyfriend and stuff well that was the first week well the second week, came and a bunch of people told me he was cheating on my with anthor girl. so i got mad and i asked him and he said it wasnt true. well today his ex ex girlfriend which WAS my best friend came up to me today in school and was like yea i called him and we was talking and i said how is you and him doing and he said will i want you too tell her to break up with me so i dont have to break up with her because i dont have the heart too. well i talked to him today on the bus and he said it wont true... Is all these rumors going to mess our relationship up and how long do you think we will last.. One more thing. the first week we talked on the phone all the time but now we hardly talk on the phone. Does that mean he is mad at me or anything like that?

Relationships are all about trust. You either trust your partner or you don't have a really-true relationship, you have a hanging-around-goofing-off relationship. So believe in him until proven otherwise. Rumors aren't proof. If you wish, go ask the girl he was supposedly cheating with. She'll tell you whether or not it's true.
