i had found out that he wasn't so faithful to me from the start.

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
i was dating this guy for about 8 in a half months, and it was a very serious relationship. just recently after our break up i had found out that he wasn't so faithful to me from the start. i kind of always suspected this but due to the fact of liking him so much then soon growing to fall in love with him i gave him the benefit of the doubt. now i'm worried that i have contracted an STD from this person due to unprotected sex. though my ex doesn't want to admit he as cheated, i know for a fact that he has due to information from a very reliable source.the main question is until i find out if i have contracted anything i don't know if i should allow him to still contact me to have conversation. i want things to be on a friend hey buddy level but i can't deal with the fact that he cheated and that he continues to lie about it because he thinks i'm just assuming and i have know clue.please give me down to earth advice on what i should do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
First, get yourself to the doctor for tests. They won't take longer than a week to get back to you on your status. Second, dump this guy. Since he has cheated on you, then you don't want him back. Especially if he won't be honest with you about it. You know all of this though, you just wanted me to agree with what you know in your heart is the truth.

I wish you the best.
