We will all even be working on the same floor.

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
About 4 months ago, my boyfriend and I broke up. Actually he just left. He never told me why or anything, and we still haven't talked, he just told me he was going fishing and never came back. I gave all his stuff back by giving it to his brother who is my best friend. He immediatly started seeing this girl he worked with, I think that's why he left me. Anyways, they have both quit working where they used to and are coming to the hospital I work at and both on the same shift. We will all even be working on the same floor. This bothers me becasue it's like a slap in the face, not to mention the fact that he has been such an ass about the whole thing. LIke for instance if he calls here to talk to his brother and I pick up the phone he just hangs up. WHat do I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
I can understand why you would be uncomfortable about the situation. Unfortunately, you don't have many options, either find a way to deal with it or quit. The medical field is amazingly open so you could get a new job easily. I suggest you take the high road and treat him like an old acquaintance, someone you say hi to in the hallway but that's it. Let him go like a rotten apple that he is and find how to be happy with yourself.

I wish you the best!
