My Boyfriend of a year and i recently broke up.. his idea!!
I cant stand the thought of not being with him? One night he went out with his friends and came home acting different...i could tell that something was up, two days later i found out that he met someone, didnt cheat on me, but he got her number. He never cheated on me but 3 days later he broke up with me and said that he needed to realize that if really wants to be with me or not... He said if its meant to be, its meant to be...He completes me.. How do i get him back????

There is no way to make someone love you. All you can do is be the best person you are and hope that it's what the other person is looking for. And molding yourself to what you think the other person wants won't work either. It's not a good idea in general, because only by being true to yourself will you gain the most out of life.

Accept the fact that he's stepping back to reevaluate the relationship. Very frequently, people will realize how special the relationship is once they leave it, so you may very well get another shot at a relationship with him.

In the meantime, spend time with friends that you were neglecting when you were dating your guy. Find new things to occupy your time. Create a list of things you want to do and then go do them. Distract yourself by doing new and interesting things.

You can also argue with him that you want to remain friends and then invite him out to do things with him. Then he can remember what fun you are and will ask you out agian. It's a long shot, but it's possible.
