How to get her to love me

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I'm 13/8th grade

A girl says were friends, And that's great, but i want her to love me like i love her. We've been friends for a year now. Can i expect that to change soon? We hug but she doesn't want to kiss. How can i get her to start to like me more without making her feel uncomfortable or like i'm forcing her. And this all has to be done at school because my parents don't approve of this stuff (they don't even know) so any help on getting her to like me would help thanks

If I knew the answer to your question I would be a millionaire. Nobody knows what makes people fall in love. And, some people mature at different ages and, for example, your girlfriend may not be ready to fall in love.

My advice is to continue to be friends with her and the longer you are friends, the closer you will become. Perhaps by 9th grade she will be ready for more than she is now.
