Part time boyfriend
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleI have been dating the same guy for 2 1/2 yrs now. I am 24 he will be 25 I am ready to move the relationship up a step he is not. He thinks its ok to see me only two nights a week and spend all the rest of his time with his friends. I love him alot but how long am I supposed to wait around for him to be ready? I feel like everything we had is falling apart around me.. I want things to work but I dont want to force him into something he is not ready for.. do I stay and wait.. do I leave and look elsewhere? Help

If you haven't done so yet, you need to have a long discussion with your boyfriend about his neglecting you. If he is not comfortable increasing your time together, let him know that it is threatening your relationship. You are right that 2 1/2 years is a long time and to see him only two nights a week is not enough for most people.
