Best friend and making out

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My best friend and I have been very close for the past two years. Over these years we've both been involved in relationships and we've seen each other through them. For example, I just recently ended a relationship with a long time boyfriend, his number one reason being the closeness between me and my best friend. Recently my best friend and I have been getting closer than ever and hanging out as much as we possibly can. Then last weekend we made out, plus a little extra, and now I don't know what to think of it. I think that I like him, but we've never looked at each other in that kind of way before. I know that almost everyone has been telling me that we would make a perfect couple, but I hate to listen to people who don't know everything about the situation. Our relationship is further complicated by the fact that I'm 18 and he's 16. At this point, I'm really confused whether a) the kiss meant anything for him and b) whether this would even be a relationship that is worth persuing. I know that I have feelings for him, but we've been friends for so long now that I don't want to jeopardize that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
My advice is to have a heart to heart talk with your friend and sort out what your feelings are for each other. Neither you nor I can figure this out by guessing at what is in his mind. And you need to give more thought to what you want from this friend.

Good luck,
George
