Is she a girlfriend?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
yes i have a question well there is this girl that i like for 2 months and iv been hanging out with her went to he church youth things and even asked her to go to my friends birthday thing where we just hang out. and she flirted with me i thought like she always touched me on the arms and once even layed her head on me when we watched a movie during her church youth but i knew when she did that that she started to like this other guy few weeks before so i guess im asking have i been played or do you think she is confused becasue she sent me a text that said "i cant think of as a bf right now but who know what the future holds" and also i always took her stuff out if her purse and she knew that and she always droped what she was doing and started to chase me for like 3 or 4 minutes then she got it back now i know she enjoyed that but know that this other guy is involded i dont know what she is doing. do you think i can still maybe get her to be my gf or do i need to wait because that guy and her are not going out and they been "talking" for awhile now so i dont know what to do. what do you think i should do? i am 16 and so is she and i am a junior and she is a sophmore

I don't think you are being played. She just confusted about how she feels. Hang around and remain her good friend and you might come back into the picture again and hopefully soon.

Good luck,
George
