Chatting problems

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have this guy friend of mine that I consider to be my best guy pal. I've known him for about three years now and throughout our friendship we have some history even though we've never dated before. I've had romantic feelings for him for awhile and he knows this I think. Anyways, right now he has a girlfriend who I dislike and don't get along with but thats another story. Every day at work me and my guy pal talk on a chat line to each other but the thing is that sometimes I can get soo upset with him and wanna break down into tears cause I get so frustrated and upset with him even though its just a chat line. And then other days I'm fine and he makes my day or I'm in a good mood after I'm done talking with him. I know it has to do with my feelings towards him and I don't like the fact that he has a girlfriend now but is this normal to have a guy alter your mood swings? I'm not a type of person who cries alot or lets my emotions show at all, but some days just talking to him makes me wanna break down and bawl my eyes out. Obviously this probably can't be a healthy relationship but what should I do? Should I just stop talking to him every day or what? But I still want to continue our friendship that we have, so I'm really confused! I'd appreciate your opinion on this matter. Thank you!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Mood swings are very normal in a relationship. Your problem is that he has a girlfriend. About all you can do is to try to maintain a good relationship as a friend. Perhaps he will lose interest in his girlfriend and you will have a chance to become his girlfriend.

Good luck,
George
