How to stand out in the crowd

My name is Dan, I am a 17 yr old Junior in High school. Recently I met a freshmen at a small party that I danced with and have had a huge crush on. She is a foreign girl and seems to try to talk to everybody around school. Sometimes when I talk with her I feel like I am another person in the crowd, but at other times, she talks to me like I am an intimate freind. I would really appreciate advice on how to make an impression out of the rest of the crowd and eventually get close enough to her to ask her out.I would deeply appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Be respectful and honest with her. Learn something about her country and introduce it into your conversations. Find out her likes and dislikes. Try to become her best friend. Don't be afraid to ask her out now. Be ready to be turned down as she is still young.
