Give it a little more time
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleI've been seeing this girl for about 4 months now (going on 5) and usually we see each other about once a week. After about the third date, she told me that she "did not see us like that" and that she wanted to be single for a while. Yet she still throws out very strong signals. Ex. We go to the mall and I offer to buy her some food/drink. She refuses politely but when we sit down, she playfully steals a fry or a sip from my Coke when I'm not looking, then puts it back when I look up and grins at me and pretends like she doesn't know anything about it. Whenever we talk it's almost constant eye contact, and she's already said a few times (even after the dreaded "I don't see us like that" line) that she likes being around me. I've been afraid to tell her how I feel about her for so long, but I'm in love with her now more than ever. Should I tell her how I feel, or am I just getting the wrong signals from her?
RomanceClass.com AdviceI don't think she is quite ready to hear about your love for her. Give your relationship more time to mature. You will know when she is ready when the time comes.
