Relationships as Chance Encounters
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleWhile on the subway i saw an advertisment which said that 75% of relationships began as chance encounters.this made me wonder. So i have to ask, do reationships with women happen more when you do not look, or do you have to look.Thank you in advance.
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt depends on what you mean by relationship - and what they mean by chance encounter! Just about everyone you meet is by chance - you happen to work with them, you happen to be in the same school with them, you happen to live near them. Very few people are deliberately introduced. So really those stats are meaningless :)
In general, the best relationships are with people you have a lot in common with and that you are friends with first. That builds up the trust you need to survive together, and the common interests gives you things to do and maintain your relationship for years and years.
So your best bet is to actively join groups and clubs for your favorite hobbies, and actively get to know the people in those groups and clubs. The more people you can meet that love the things you love, the more friends you'll have with those interests, and the more chance that some of those opposite-sex friends will then become more than friends.
