See a counselor
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleAfter being together for 3 year,a month and 2 weeks ago my boyfriend broke up with me over the phone. A few days before that he had told me that he didn't love me as much as he used to. He loved me a bit less. That really hurt me and we had a huge fight. The next night ..that is when he told me that he cannot stand the fact of having to deny our relationship to people because i want to keep it a secret. I told him it's ok for me to deal with all of his s*, (not having a car, or money) but he cant just deny to one single person that we're not dating? I also told him that it's like i am the guy and he is the girl in the relationship. That's when he snapped and say it's over and he wished me a good life. Now he is a cold-hearted person who is obessed with money. He ignores me half the time and it is hard for me to live. He was my best friend as well as my boyfriend. All I do day and night is hysterically cry cry cry cry ... all i think about his him, all i talk about is him...he's on my mind literally 24.7. I cant' eat or sleep and I have never felt so low in my life. I snap at everyone. Everything angers me. I'm failing out of college. Half the time I think about him being with another girl makes me want to find out who she is and rip all her hair out. I CANT FUNCTION WITHOUT HIM!!! I'm still in love with him...more and more every day. Even though he tells me he doesnt love me anymore nor does he want to remember what he had. What do I do to get him back????
RomanceClass.com AdviceYour college has professional counselors to help students who are having emotional troubles. Go see one immediately. You don't want to flunk out of college. Also, your chances of getting him back are low while you are in this condition.
Make sure he knows that you still love him (if you haven't done so already). Tell him you are going to a mental health counselor to try to get a handle on what is going on. Tell him you hope you two can get back together sometime soon. Apologize for comparing him to a girl (this is what seems to have pushed him over the edge).
Best of luck!
