My girlfriend and I got into a big fight

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I was in a 6 year relationship, myt girlfriend and I got into a huge fight in oct and we didn't speak for 2 months, when we finally spooke I found out she had a new bf, in fact she moved in with him, I am completely broken up and love her so much, I was a terrible bf and it really took a life altering event to make me take a step back and really look at what I did and how I should have treated her. She still loves me but still is angry at me for many things. I conveyed my undying love for her over the course of a few weeks but this somehow just pushed her away, her new bf forbids any contact with me, but she emailed me last week and said she shouldn't be talking to me but lets keep this between us. She jumped into this relationship 2 days after we broke up. Some guy that has liked her for over a year now. He treats her like she should be treated but I want to be this person for her. I want to reply to her to tell her how much I love her and how much I miss her but I am afraid to push her away. I love her so much, please help.

Keep communicating as much as you can. You said she still loves you so there is a likelihood that she will return to you.

You have already told her that you love her and miss her and want her back. And, you've told her you understand how bad you were.

As long as the lines of communications are open you are doing well... keep up the good work!
