Fun in the future

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
About a month ago i went out witha grade 11 and i'm in grade 8.He was my first boyfriend i had in high school. But i also had the worst break up ever. We became quite closer after we broke up and my feelings still stand for him. He's one of the only people i really care about even though he can be an ASS at times. Now today (the last day of the 1st term he told me that he's leaving the school! Like most people would do i tried not to react to that! As soon as i got away from him i went to my closest friend and hugged her.Since that moment i havn't even pretended to be happy coz i knew i wasn't even though i tried my best not to tell eveyone why.I've lost many people who i really care about and i regret not making the best of it every day as it's my last day that i would see them. The tears are willing to bust out but i'm keeping them in.This happens to a lot of people Right? should i just try to move on? or do you have any advice? 14 yrs old.
