He's Flirting but not Following Through
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Femalethere are so many different body signals of love, but sometimes there are mixed signals that makes me doubt everything. When i flirt with the guy i secretly love, there are so many signals that makes me sure that its mutual between us and that its not just me and my imagination. We have lots of deep smiley eyeflirting, interesting conversations, give each other compliments, etc.(he even stroked my hair once when we were talking and laughing together..what does that mean?)
but then sadly he never goes any further and makes no more intiative, like writing to me,ask me out, tell me im pretty etc.He might even "ignore" me and talk to everyone else but me,but still alowe him self to look at me and send smiles across the room from time to time. He doesen't come closer to me even if im sitting alone waiting for him...why??
why is he sending such mixed signals...i feel that he likes me but then suddenly i dont know where i stand anymore...im so confused
RomanceClass.com AdviceMany guys and girls love to flirt without really meaning to do anything else. Flirting is a fun way to hang out with people and it doesn't necessarily mean you intend to do anything more serious. So it could be he just enjoys flirting, and that's what he is doing. So yes, he likes you, but he's not really interested in dating.
If you want more from the relationship, take the next step! Girls don't just sit on the wall waiting for a guy to come over and do all the work. If you like him, invite him out to a movie or something! Tell him you're going to xxxxxxxx over the weekend and would he like to come along. See what he says. He could say yes!
