Has boyfriend but fell back in love with ex

My ex-boyfriend and I broke up for 1 1/2 yr. We've been together for 4 yrs. I called the break up because my feelings faded for him and at the same time I fell in love with another guy. Now me and that guy is together, but as time pass, I realise the one I really love is my ex boyfriend. It hurts me alot whenever I see him talking to other girls. When we first broke up, he bought me roses every single day and he told me how much he loves me and it hurts him when he sees me with my new boyfriend. Now I feel the exact same way as he did before. I know he had moved on wtih his life. I tried telling him how much i miss and love him, but he told me he just want to be friends. I know its not fair for my current boyfriend but I can't stop thinking about my ex boyfriend. Please help me is there something I can do to get over this terrible moment. I cried almost every night thinking about the sweet things he did for me in the past. I really want to be with him again.. Thank you for your time in reviewing my message.

This is a tough situation and I am sorry you are in it.

The first thing to do is to break up with your current boyfriend. Tell him you love your ex and you want to try to get back with him. This will be unpleasant but necessary.

Then apply your powers of persuasion to bring back your ex. Take him flowers every day and tell him you love him. It won't be easy to regain his trust for you so you will have to work at it. But it appears that you care enough for him to do a lot to get him back.

Just be sure he isn't a rebound from your current boyfriend. It is easy to look back and wish you could have someone again when you aren't happy with your current situation.
