if he smiles when he sees me, why doesn't he ask me out

Does he like me?
He is always giving me mixed signals. I don't know if he's teasing me or being a jackass. He gives me second glances when he thinks I'm not looking, and when I ask him for help with whatever he's nice and helps. But then again he knocks things out of my hands, hides my stuff, and is really negative. He's never had a g/f (I'm not his g/f or even his friend) but he's had friends that are girls so it makes me jealous. We've only civily spoken to each other once. Also, if he smiles when he sees me, why doesn't he ask me out (or is he just laughing at me?) What is his problem???

First off, nobody is Nobody Important! You are as important as everyone else on this planet. You have one life so you must live it to the utmost.

As far as this guy goes, based on your comments he is a jerk who likes you but doesn't know how to express it. In other words, immature.

I wouldn't recommend that you date him even if he asks. You have enough going on in your life without taking on a major project of teaching someone how to be an adult.
