Strange guy
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleWell,I'm in a really confusing situation here!
So,there's this guy who I'm interested in.It all started with lots of eye contact and stuff like that. One of my closest friends happens to know him,and I told her he was cute. So,a few weeks back I went to the block where my friend was having class to wait for her. After a while he happens to pass me by.Later after school, he sends a message to my friend saying that I was hot and she asked him if he wanted to meet me and he said "yes,of course i do".So,the next day my friend tells me that he changed his mind, because he said I was too old.Later after school, while waiting for the bus he was in the usual spot, not very far from where I was and giving me lots of eye contact.
Well, vacation came and this Monday when school started again, I was with my friends and when I passed I happened to look to the side, to the windows from the block and he was staring outside at me.And kept staring while I passed by for along while.SO,basicaly everytime I pass he stares at me.This Wednesday I went to pick up my friend after class and he was near by,and she asked if I wanted to meet him that time.I said no that he probably wouldn't want to meet, but she called him and introduced us.
So,the next day my friend says that he sent hima message asking her my name again and thanked her for introducing me to him. So,Thursday at noon a bit before the ending of classes I was with my friend at the cafe and she receives a message from him asking if I had cell phone, which she replied that I had and asked him if he wanted my numb.,which he replied positively and told her to give me his number. So,later I receive a message from him saying that he really liked meeting me and that I was really cool(?).I've replied saying that I also liked meeting him and that he also seemed like a cool guy. So,he continued text messaging me and told me to tell more things about myself so we could get to know each other better.I told him a bit about myself and asked him if he played soccer and he said yes,but he didn't play very well.I said that it was hard to believe that and then he said that if I wanted to see if he was a good or a bad player to go see him playing soccer at the match that will happen at school this tuesday. And that he hoped not to dissapoint me.
The problem here is that one of my friends(not the closest but still) is his ex girlfriend and they broke up +- a month ago,but she still likes him a bit.So I'm in a bad situation here.To add it worse,we talked yesterday at msn and she said that she had news about him.She said that He sent him a message yesterday after school, while on the bus, saying that He was a jerk to break up with her, saying sorry once again(and telling her that she was getting better and better )and asking her if she already forgot him.And that when they greet each other that day and he gave her a kiss on the cheek he wanted to give her a kiss on the lips. And a little later he sent a message to my friend asking her why did she ask him about if he was interested in me and told her that he was starting to get interested in me.My closest friend which also happens to be one of his ex girlfriends said to me yesterday at night, while talking to her about this whole situation, that when he dated her he also sent messages to other girls. My closest friend also asked him if he still liked his ex(that girl I'm friends with) and he said no.Any help is REALLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis guy is rather strange. Keep that in mind.
If you want to pursue a relationship with him be cautious.
The next step is up to you... go to the soccer game and after the game tell him how well he did. Maybe he will ask you out, or maybe you will have to ask him.
Wish you a lot of luck, I think you may need it!
